Even if there are no seals present, we would love to receive your photo! It is important for us to know when seals are present - but also when they are absent. So a lack of seals is still really useful information for our researchers.

Whilst we would obviously prefer photos that are perfectly zoomed, perfectly in focus, and perfectly lit ... This is not very realistic! Especially given Scottish weather! So please do submit your photo even if you are not sure the quality is great. Some information is better than no information!

We welcome multiple photo submissions! However, we recommend waiting a minimum of 15mins before taking subsequent photos. This allows us to more accurately capture changes over time at the seal haul-out.
